The Haze Is Back!

Since yesterday I have noticed the unhealthy condition of the air here in Puchong, so I googled up to know whether there any news/warning regarding possibility of haze to confirm my suspicion and not surprises that my suspicion is true indeed.

A statement from DOE had said that the bad air condition was due to the haze drifting in from several hotspot in Sumatra. Indonesia and expected to last for several day. The weather forecaster from Meteorological Dept said that rain is unlikely to occur until middle or end of next week, but I pray that the rain will soon happen because the heat is one thing and now the haze, combined together really are bad for health (*sighing). Da'ron konou!!! Atau mangkali kalu sa yang suara tidak sedap ni nyanyi, buli hujan ka itu??? (*LOL)

Anyway, for those who live in affected area, it's better to stay indoor during this hazy day to min the effect of the haze to our health, especially for kids. I gotta buy face masks for my boys just in case the haze gonna prolong till next week since they have to go to school.

Well, hopefully the air condition will get better soon because I just couldn't stand the acrid smell of smoke and the hazy sight. Mata yang sudah rabun ni tambah rabun oo...

So, until next post, stay safe and have a nice weekend everyone!

view from my flat. (sorry, pic took by my mini so the quality is not so good)

Kotobian Tadau Tagayo Kaamatan!

Today is 31st May a particular significant day for us, Sabahan people because during this particular day, we celebrated Harvest Festival and I don't need to explain about it ba kan..Considered common knowledge sudah meti ni fact.. So, whoever doesn't know about it deserve a lumpakis (*LOL).. Just kidding kio!

Well, it's been years since last time I celebrated Harvest Festival in my hometown, not because I didn't want to but it because I couldn't afford the flight ticket back then.. How about now? Honestly, I still couldn't afford if the whole family want to go back during Harvest Festival because during this period of time the flight ticket (even AA) paling amahal ooo (@_@).. Ehemm, anybody want to sponsor my family flight ticket ka? In my dream mangkali ada la, hahahaha.. However, I do have this wish/hope that I am going to go back to my hometown during Harvest Festival and hopefully I am able to do so soon (*finger crossed).

To tell the truth, I really miss to celebrate this festival because during Harvest celebration we could hear magagong everywhere! believe me when I said that the last time I heard this art of music, I mean magagong was during my big brother wedding day on 2005. Once upon a time, me too knew how to play tagong tau (*wink2).. Now, I don't know because I never play it since 2001..

Opppss.. better I stop before I start to babble and write another long, long post.. So, I wanna wish all Sabahan wherever you are, all over the world :

KOTOBIAN TADAU TAGAGO KA'AM ATAN 2012

Remember, safety 1st, don't drink & drive kio.. kalu mau drive juga, tapau tumpung/lihing/luping back to home & you can drink all you want without worry (*smile)...

Catch you again in my next post ya!

P/S:  Entry about PTPTN will release soon after special post for my 2nd son...

TNB oh TNB...

Oh yeah, TNB give us another problem again and this one is the worst one.. Let me do the telling then you can have you say okay!

red letter received on 20/01/2012
Last night when we arrived at our flat, we were welcomed with another red letter from TNB which surprised us since we have just paid TNB red letter last week. We got this red letter on Friday before CNY holiday and the amount is RM142.24 and no 'pemotongan' stamped on it, while this latest red letter amount is RM273.98 with 'tanggal jangka W/O 41' stamped on it. Hubby then check on the meter board and guess what? TNB did not took away the fuse as they always do but this time TNB remove our residence electric meter entirely! What the heck??!!

"surprise" for us from TNB!
At our flat area, our electricity/water bill always lost because of the naughty kids doing. So we have to wait for the 'surat peringatan' or red letter from TNB to know the amount we have to make payment. Well, it's not a good habit though but I don't like to pay something without a bill/invoices a reference. So yeah, maybe it's our fault for waiting the red letter from TNB but what puzzled my husband and me is why TNB remove our residence electricity meter entirely??? I mean, normally they will only take away the fuse right?? Moreover, why didn't they updated our payment even though it already 4 working days since we paid the previous red letter?? We paid cash not with cheque that have to wait 3 days to clear! (*fuming)

hutang RM131.74, TNB tanggal meter!
My husband called TNB helpline, asking for explanation why this happened and also seeking for help but guess what they say? "Dalam sistem tidak dinyatakan apa sebab meter rumah anda ditanggalkan". Come on, there must be reason for everything right. As for the help, at first they said will send the technician to put back the meter but then later when it almost midnight, they said have to wait until today and we have to go to the TNB Subang Jaya branch! Aiyo, cakap belit2.. Why don't just say that they cannot do anything! So in the end, we were in heat with candles as our light for whole night. You know how hot it can be during night time in city... I cannot imagined how did our ancestor managed to live and survived without electricity...

Today, my husband go to TNB office at Subang Jaya and ask the officer for explanation. My husband said nobody can give any. They keep saying that there is still balance due of RM131.74 need to be settle. Well, if so TNB can take away the fuse as they normally do right? Why TNB remove the entire meter as if we owe TNB thousand ringgit?? My husband then told me that TNB said it happened because of the system fault.. Excuses..excuses.. My husband also said that TNB said will install back the meter by today but just now he told me that he called TNB customer service to keep on tabs about this problem status and guess what they said? "Untuk kes pemasangan kembali jangka, biasanya ambil masa 3-5 hari berkerja." What the heck???!! It's TNB system fault that put us in this hard situation and now they giving excuses to fix back what they done wrong even though we already settled the balance due of RM131.74! This is what I hate the most.. We gave you, your money, so can you PLEASE fulfill your part A.S.A.P.. (*please note the sarcasm)

This incident really give me lesson not to wait for the red letter anymore because when it concern with money, even a small amount as RM131.74, TNB can be heartless! You too don't forget to pay your electric bill every month or else TNB will remove your meter..(*please note the sarcasm again)

I am done for now! Happy Thursday everyone! (^_^) V

P/S: Marah2 but still smiling tau because smiling can keep you from aging! ..(^_^) V

Uncivilized Action Of Malaysian Audience!

I am not really motoGP fans but I do keep on tab about this sport because well ya my hubby likes this sport though he never watch it live at all. I guess maybe all of us knew that one of the popular figure in motoGP, Marco Simoncelli deceased yesterday at our very own Sepang circuit after involved in disastrous crashed with 2 other rider. I only knew about the news after reading one of my FB friend updates who was there at the Sepang Circuit where the accident took place.

Image credited to dailymail.co.uk
Actually this post not really about the deceased rider but I am writing this because I felt disappointed with our peoples who throwing rubbish on the circuit after the organizer cancelled the race. From what I read from articles and people updates, the audiences were angry because the race was cancelled without detailed info and the news of Simoncelli death only announced after some of the audiences left.

When I read this, all I can think about is, whats wrong with all those people? They were there, watching the whole accident right to their eyes and they still need a detailed info? OMG! Are they blind? Didn't they see that accident  might cost that man life? Those audience who throw rubbish really act like child throwing tantrums when something make them angry.. Geez, such a shame! Their action gonna cost our country it good image for sure..

You might think that I have no right to say anything about this since I am not there. You might even think that I judges without knowing the whole story. Ya, I realize that but I don't need the whole story to give my opinion about the audience selfish behavior because the proof is there. The rubbish won't scattered on the circuit unless someone throw it there, isn't it? So, in my opinion the audience action really unacceptable! We live in era of civilized country so act like one.. Only caveman showing tantrum like a child and even a caveman can act better than those who involved in littering the Sepang circuit..

Ya, I am bit emotional because I love my country and I don't want such incident tarnish our country image. It's not only showed that the audience ( Malaysian mostly ) acted like uncivilized but at the same time it showed that the audience have no respect to the  deceased rider and his family! They said that they were not informed with the Simoncelli death but being there watching the whole episode of the accident they should know better that the result was fatal and instead of throwing rubbish, they should pray or at least hope that the involved family will get through the loss.

I always emotional when it concern with someone life.. I may not know Simoncelli and his family very well like those fan of him but I can feel the hurt and sadness of his family especially  his father who watched his son catastrophic accident. In fact, I can't imagine at all how terribly sad his father over his son death.

To all the audience who involved in those 'throwing rubbish' incident at the SIC yesterday; please do not do that kind of action in future. Remember that we Malaysian, rich with moral value that patience and understanding are among those good quality in us.. Ya, you might think that your action speak for yourself but in the end people worldwide still related it to our country image..

R.I.P to Marco Simoncelli and to his family, may God give you the strength to get through the lost..

P/S: - Really hope that world won't condemn all Malaysian just because of those uncivilized action..
       - Anyone who read this and happened to watch the GP race yesterday, please do not mad at me because I merely expressing what I feel about the 'throwing rubbish' incident okay..Moreover, no point to get mad if you are not one of them right? PEACE NO WAR! (^_^) V

Putrajaya Floria 2011

I am back! Aiyoo, it's not like you all miss me right? But I miss to rant like a mad-woman,hahahaha!!! Just kidding okay..

Yep, I went to Putrajaya Floria 2011. Seriously, this is the very 1st time I have the opportunity to attend this event and I am expecting to see lots of "flower/flora" display and like kid on her 1st day to school, I was extremely excited..

We departed from home at 3.45pm and reached there around 4.15pm. Actually, we are supposed to meet up with my mom-in-law and sis-in-law at PICC (Putrajaya International Convention Center) to attend the "Pameran pengantin" but then we proceed to the "Pesta Floria" 1st since they were delayed by the heavy traffic. My hubby and I intended to explore the whole site but due to the hot whether, plus my  youngest son who is showing his tantrum (he cry and shout all the time we there) we cut out our visit and headed to Kajang because my hubby have something to do there before we meet up with my in law at PICC at 6.30pm. After Maghrib, we watch the decorative boat/junk for a while then we went off to my in law house at Semenyih.

Overall, I did enjoyed my short visit to this despite of my youngest son tantrum. Lots of people attended the events and I could see lots of photographer taking the opportunity to snap pics of the beautiful flowers especially roses that designed in such unique way. I feel jealous  of their high tech camera compared to my borrowed Samsung digital camera..(*sobbing) I need to buy one like them... Moreover, hubby didn't manage to capture lots of pics since wwe are busy persuading our youngest son..

To me this kind of event should held more often since events like this give people the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of floras/flower beside being a good activities to gather and spend with family. For those who have not yet attend/visit the fiesta, it's not to late to do so because the fiesta will continue until 17th July 2011. If you gonna attend it, don't forget to bring along your best camera because there are lots of beautiful scenery and flower design that you can capture at the site. I feel down to earth actually to show pic that hubby snap during the visit but being the being the 'muka tembok', I proudly present you the few pic taken on that day..Hihihihi, kalau mo kutuk, silakan jangan segan2 kio..(^_^)V
the whether is hot so the senyum pun  "panas"..hihi
Eyas struggling and crying..Me trying to act cool but silently I feel like want to shout.. =(
Sawadikap!! betul ka itu spelling..hahahaha
nah, i like thi sone flower design !
I love this pic though I don't know why! =D
Pic at the front yard of PICC..Nice view kan..
Adehh..kasihan betul ni pic..gelap!
I guess that all i can say about my visit to Putrajaya Floria 2011. Yeah, it might sound kind of boring but hopefully you won's fell asleep reading it..WOITT!! wake up! Hahahaha..

Good day and happy reading everybody!

P/S: If i have the time will try to re-visit the event again..

Welcoming July & Resurrect Old Passion

Today is 1st July and 2nd July already welcoming us in just another hour. Gosh! seriously? It's already half year of 2011! It's feel just like yesterday I watch the sky fill with fireworks celebrating new year of 2011 and listed out my year 2011 resolution. Have I achieve any of it? Geezzzz, don't really want to write about it now, so can I just keep the answer till end of this year?..

Tada!! The new shoes..
Since I am done with welcoming July, now I am going to continue my story about finding the cheap but nice running shoes and my history in participating in marathon 5 years ago . Yep, I already bought one this afternoon. It's purple and black in color and only cost me RM42++ . Why black? It's obviously because I hate to wash my running shoes regularly, hahahahaha...

I bought this shoes because I decide to start joining marathon again after 5 years break. When I was still studying at UKM, I was an athlete and marathon was one of my favorite activities. I still remember participating in "Larian Samsung" in UKM when I already pregnant with my eldest son and still managed to win the 4th place among thousand of participant.. Hehehe, guess what? Nobody know that I was pregnant, even me didn't aware that I was pregnant. I have join lots of marathon back then but after I graduate from UKM in 2006 and got my 1st job, I rarely have free time anymore.

Recently, I feel like I miss to do this activities after I look at my friends picture and update in Facebook about joining marathon. I am looking forward to join any marathon that held around Selangor in near future but not now since I have to train my stamina back. For a start, I am joining the "Larian Serentak 1Murid, 1Sukan, 1Malaysia" that will be held at my sons school (Sekolah kebangsaan Puchong Indah) tomorrow at 7.00am.

Well, if I am not mistaken, this event will be held in all school in Malaysia tomorrow and the launching ceremony is held at Padang Dataran Perbandaran (Padang Esplanade), Taiping, Perak Darul Ridzuan.

I don't know how far is it but hopefully I will manage to make it to finish line. Is my hubby gonna join it? Hahahaha, just listen to the word 'running or jogging' terrify my hubby! So the answer is nope..He is going to be a nanny for a day tomorrow instead..

Woahh!!! It's already 12.20am! Mean it's already 2nd July. In other word, my pillow and blanket is calling me to join them so I better stop this rants now. Moreover I need my energy tomorrow..(*wink2)
To all parents who will joining this events, Chaiyo..Chaiyo! (^_^) v

P/S: For the past 3 days, I boiled and drank ginger soup/water for "tahan nafas" purpose in order to avoid "pancit" during long distance running..
