Picnic At Sungai Congkak

During the recent school mid-term break, I didn't plan any trip or holiday for our family because the budget is quite tight nowadays plus I am saving for approaching Ramadhan and Aidilfitri.

However, knowing that the kids need a fresh air and their dose of nature, we visited our favorite camping/picnic spot at Sungai Congkak. Kiddos love this place because it remind them of the stream nearby my home at village. They miss our kampung so much! Hopefully can secure our flight ticket end of this year or next year (*finger crossed)

Visiting Sungai Congkak cost me nothing except for the parking fee (and foods of course) but nobody collecting those fee when we went there during the mid-term break. Normally there will be local people collecting RM5 per car. It was really a nice small river/stream with clean and clear water. We didn't bring any foods with us because there are lots of stall selling various kind of foods along the road and the riverside..

We let the kiddos play to their heart content before we went to their grandma place. Mister drove a little bit further and we realized that there are trekking area too. Will explore this area in future with kiddos. Oh yeah, I really loves nature but I am phobia of earth worm! Pathetic, I know right...

On the way to kiddos grandma place, we passed by the Semenyih Dam. The view is so beautiful and majestic. No wonder it is popular as a photoshoot background. We parked for a while and let the kids fed the monkeys (from inside our car) that loitering around waiting for visitors to give them foods. Well ya, sempat juga saya practice picture snapping skill yang saya belajar dari online sama kawan i.e si Just, ngehehe! Scolded mister few times sebab kasi fokus tu kamera on me instead of the view. Siou kio darling, LOL!

Overall, kiddos having fun and I got to spend quality time with them. Yeah, I know their trip was not as luxury as their friends but I rather bring them to the place where they can learn to appreciate the nature than to the place where they can only learn to spend and show off.

Snapped few pics just enough to capture the moments we spend together:-

Wefie!

kiddos and me kesiukan berendam. jernih kan tu air...
Hasil latihan, ngehehe!
Saya dan rakyat jelata :D
P/S:- I think most people know about but just for those not aware, resort and chalets are available for those who want to spend a night there and get the feel on living among the nature.

Eyas Kindie Sport Day 2015

Just want to share important moment of my youngest son life  So, Am considering this year Kindie Sport Day among one since it's his last year year in kindie before entering primary school next year.

The event ended earlier than scheduled due to the hot weather that caused the kids to start showing their tantrum. Unlike last year, lots of activities for the kids and parents cancelled. It's understandable tho. Terlampau panas, sampai some of the pupils cry, unable to bear the hot weather.

Eyas got sunburnt! Hmmm, next time must tell kiddos to apply sunscreen if they have outdoor activities. Some pics during and after the Sport Day:-
activities he participated. Can you guess what's its name?

3D2N At Nipah Bay Vila, Pangkor Island

Finally, made it to Pangkor Island 2 weeks ago after a month of planning with my girlfriends a.k.a Just, Lin and Lia. Happy? Of course because managed to tick off one of my "Island must visit In Malaysia" list, Ngehehehe! But frankly, it was not worth at all and as my friend Just said, "Indah khabar dari rupa"..hurmmm.

We were supposed to ride with Lia but due to some unexpected issue, Just, Lin and me have to go by ourselves 1st (Lia will arrived the next day). So, we took a bus from KL to Lumut this journey took almost 4.5 hours then another 30min boat ride from Lumut Jetty to Pangkor Jetty. From Pangkor Jetty, we took a pink taxi/bus to our hotel; Nipah Bay Villa. Check-in was smooth; no deposit required but any other special request such as kettle or hair-dryer or iron needed RM50 deposit. However the hotel we booked was such a disappointment! The floor is sandy and sticky, no sound proof and it's a bit isolated! Tambah kecewa bila nampak banyak lagi hotel/chalet yang more decent yang sama harga or maybe cheaper with Nipah Bay Villa, GRRRRR! Hoop to Lin if you curious of the pink taxi or Just blog to see what our hotel interior/exterior look like since I didn't took any pic of it, hahaha!
3 of us at Lumut Jetty before depart to Pangkor and 5 of us before going back to KL
Wefie in front of our hotel
DAY 1 (FRIDAY)
We spent our time food hunting, walking around the area and also have our share of experience feeding the hornbills.
berlakon seja tu macam kasi makan tu burung, hehe!
DAY 2 (SATURDAY)
Woke up early and went to the beach nearby taking lots of pics (selfie and wefie especially). Tambah teruk juling air saya bila tengok balik tu gambar-gambar. Terlampau banyak!!! Lol! We also managed to get good bargain of Island hopping + Snorkelling. RM15 seja, murah kan... BUT not worth at all because we did not snorkel at all! The only thing I can see was 'gamat'. No fish or coral at all and the water is so dirty and gross!  Bukan niat mau hina tapi it's a fact. I thought of taking my kiddos here this June but not anymore la..After Lia arrived, we chartered a taxi/bus to take us around the Island and visit local attraction such as Dutch Fort, Foo Lin Kong Temple-The Mini Great Wall Of China and a new open gallery where they display interesting stuff/relic  to public.

DAY 3 (SUNDAY)
Accompany Lia and her son to play at the beach before checking out from our hotel. This time we ride with Lia, so sempat singgah di Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan. Thought of jalan-jalan cari  makan at Teluk Intan but most of those recommended stall/restaurant was closed and we end up having late lunch at Mamak restaurant instead, hihihi. Arrived at KL around 8pm and I reached home around 10.30pm after having dinner with my family.

Us, in front of the leaning Tower, Teluk Intan.
I heart this pic so much! Thank you Just for snapping this :D
The trip was a disappointment but still I cherished the times and moments I spent alone with my friends since I rarely hang out with them nowadays. Regarding Pangkor Island, I wish they can do something to restore the beauty it once had. I know that it was a beautiful island once that attracted lot of tourist but without preservation and conservation it become what it look like now (*sigh).

Alright, that's all about our trip to Pangkor Island. Have a good day and week ahead you all!

Day Trip To Alive 3D Art Gallery, Port Dickson

A week after my 2nd running event, kiddos, mister and me went for a day trip to Alive 3D Art Gallery at Lukut, Port Dickson. Kiddos were ecstatic because beside having a look at this new opened 3D Art Gallery it also means that we are going to jalan-jalan cari makan.

We departed from home around 12.30pm and arrived at Port Dickson around 2pm and had our lunch at the local stall near the Teluk Kemang Beach area. Food there was okay but quite pricey, so told le mister that not going to dine there anymore in future. Nasi+ikan+sambal terung kena cas RM10 terus makan rasa macam telan batu, grrrr! Luckily those tasty pisang goreng chased away my awakening bad mood, LOL!

However, the bad mood was back after knowing the entrance fee of the Alive 3D Art Gallery has increased from RM15 to RM20 for adult and RM10 to RM15 for children. My youngest height is below 90cm but he too subject to RM15 entrance fee, grrrr! Since kiddos was excited, bayar juga la with hope whatever inside worth it, hmmm. We have to take off our footwear (except sock) before going in and no need to worry because they provided us a locker to keep our footwear.

Overall it's a good place for photo-shooting with lots of 3D paintings/arts. To me it's not really an exciting place for kids because kids that have less or zero interest with posing and taking pics will bored easily at this place. Luckily my kiddos was so 'sporting' and well-manner that day but unfortunately our photographer a.k.a le mister was a bit grumpy due to the heat from the crowd of people in the building. Oh yeah, it was really crowded that day that it feel so uncomfortable to take photos because all those eyes were on you the moment you step on the shooting area and shooting point. Sudahnya, banyak gambar tak jadi, Huarghhh! (Note:-If you planning to visit this place, make sure you are with people who likes taking pics or photographing baru cantik-cantik nanti gambar kamu :P)

Spent around 2 hours inside before we got out and be free from those crowd. The money paid was not worth at all but kiddos were happy and well-manner jadi biarlah..We can always find way to earn  money but our kid smile is priceless kan..

Sharing here is pics from our Day trip:-

We were here :D

That's all for now, have a good day people :)

CNY 2015: CUTI-CUTI KL

This year, I spent whole Chinese New Year holiday with kiddos and mister; swimming at pool, visiting National Museum and Butterflies Park and also food hunting around KL - Shah Alam - Subang. Yep, just a common and typical super cheap a.k.a budget family holiday but it doesn't matter because for us it was our family bonding-time. Moreover we have so much fun, especially kiddos.

Kiddos really like swimming but unfortunately the swimming pool at our apartment has been closed due to unknown reason, grrrr! Since I knew that nearby beaches such as Port Dickson, Morib etc must be crowded, mister and I booked standard suite at Peninsula Residence Suite Hotel for a night so that kiddos can swim to their heart content and trust me when I said that they really mandi sampai lebam, bwahahaha! Thinking of extending our stay but cancelled that intention because the price has been hike up 150%!

We checked out, continued our journey to venturing around KL attraction and managed to visit 2 places; National Museum and Butterfly Park in the midst of the scorching sun, hahaha! Kiddos having good time inside National Museum but their non-stop question really got my nerves, hah! They were fascinated by the historical stuff that displayed there (*smile). The eldest balik-balik kasi related stuff he saw with 'The Picker' and 'Pawn Star' show. Haihhh, anak..

At the Butterfly Park KL, once again kiddos show their enthusiasm with the surrounding especially the butterflies. It was such a pure delight to watch them connecting to the nature and I am really glad that I decided to spend more time with them. By the way, my youngest is really the sissy one yet adorable, hahaha!

Okay, enough rambling now sharing some of moment captured during our cuti-cuti KL 11:-

Peacefulness By The Sea

When we're young we have faith in what is seen, but when we're old we know that what is seen is traced in air and built on water - Maxwell Anderson

It's almost a month since my vacation in Kuala Terengganu with the kids but still this pic haunted me with so many unanswered question. When I snapped this on my way back from Kuala Terengganu to Puchong, I couldn't help myself from  wondering whether the old man sleep there because of it's peacefulness or because he doesn't have any place to go. Looking at him through my camera lens, make me feel sad because old folks always remind me of my parent and how much I miss them especially my late father. This picture also remind me to always check on my mom back in Kampung. You see, even a picture can remind us of something important that we might forget, or is it just me?

I wanted to approach the old man and talk to him because I wanted to know his real condition but I couldn't bring myself to disturb his peaceful rest/sleep. Moreover I am not someone who like to poke my nose into peoples business. In my heart, I pray that he was there for his afternoon nap, that he have a house somewhere there that he have someone to take care of him, that he wasn't homeless as I thought. I know it's a bad habit to jump into assumption but pardon me for being one when it's concerned with old folks.

Whoever this old  man, I pray to God to take care of him till the end. I won't forget his peaceful nap. I am glad that I captured that moment of him and to whom it may concerned, if you happened to stumble upon this post and  know this old man or maybe you are his families/relatives and you feel offended of me snapping his picture without consent and want me to remove it, please do let me know. Please do accept my apologizes because my intention is merely to share what I saw and my thought of it.

Till next post, happy weekend you all! Peace!

My Baby Son's 1st Step.. A moment to remember

My baby son's is learning to walk!!! What a great and joyous news for me.
My 4th kid is a bit late in learning to walk than his brother and sister.. Maybe it's due to my habits putting him inside cot to prevent him from crawling all over our house while I am busy with the house work..

Maybe i missed his real 1st step but it's still make me happy to see him trying to walk..
It's still a moment that i will treasure.

"Ilyas Maliq, The Prince Of Smiling"

THE GIFT
by Melinda Poulsen

His little arms reach out to me
When I walk in the room,
This special little spirit, yes
This child of my womb

The trusting smile he gives to me
While gazing in my eyes,
It causes me to feel as though
I've won the greatest prize

The mischievous smile from his Daddy flashes
In his twinkling eyes,
The love I feel inside for him
So strong I cannot speak

I hold him close and kiss his brow
And whisper of my love,
I say a prayer of gratefulness
And send it up above

His Mother? What could I have done
To earn this gift, this right?
I'm still not sure, but I'll thank God
                                                           Each morning and each night.
