Love is in the air!

While most Muslim people campaign to say NO to Valentine Day, here I am shouting this special day of Love to everyone! I wishes my mother, my siblings, my relatives and my friends Happy Valentine's day and hoping that people out there won't condemn me for this act of love..

JAKIM is doing what they have to do to prevent Muslim especially youngster from indulge in any immoral acts and I am totally agreed with it but I think they shouldn't too strict about it if it's celebrates by married couples. To me, celebrating it doesn't mean celebrating the Christian religion but celebrating the act of love by loving every living things.. The concept is same with celebration of other religion festival where the most important is our intention and faith, isn't it?

Isn't LOVE is one of Allah/God best gift in human nature and LOVING is one of the greatest kindness bestow by Allah/God in human nature? Tepuk dada, tanya selera..We know the answer!

Okay, enough with this "HOT" issue. I don't want my blog to enlist in PEOPLE black-list.. =P

 Wishing each other Happy Valentine's day is good enough between my hubby and I because to us, everyday is valentine's day.. Just on 14th February, we will spare some times together to celebrate have dinner together without our 4 hyperactive princes and princess... *Smile*

 I know what you all thinking but no, not an expensive candle-light dinner okay!! Just makan2 biasa at kedai makan "mug mug" nearby our flat area.. AND no flowers and gift too!

However, I write this  poem for my hubby and I hope he will like it ( though he will definitely laugh 1st ):~

Dear Hubby,

like a series of Yin & Yang

that sometimes sicken me and scare me

Laugh is the best medicine!

Yeah.. It's just an ordinary phrases that we used to hear over and over again but how many of us did practiced it in our daily life?? Do  you realized how much you wasted a day with out a laugh? Cewahh..sound macam mmau bagi syarahan la pula..*LOL*

The many benefits of laughter



1. When you make fun of yourself, you dis-empower those who would make fun of you and disarm possible confrontations.( jangan saja over-do, or else people will misjudge )

2.  Laughter dissolves tension, stress, anxiety, irritation, anger, grief,  and depression. Like crying, laughter lowers inhibitions, allowing the  release of pent-up emotions. After a hearty bout of laughter, you will  experience a sense of well-being. Simply put, he/she who laughs, lasts.  After all, if you can laugh at it, you can live with it. Remember, a  person without a sense of humor is like a car without shock absorbers.

3.  Medical researches have found that laughter boosts the immune system.  The study of how behavior and the brain affect the immune system is  called psycho-neuroimmunology. Though still in its infancy, this science  is rapidly gaining much attention as mankind strives to understand the  mind-body relationship.

4. Laughter reduces pain by releasing endorphins that are more potent than equivalent amounts of morphine... ( Tidak payah beli painkiller la kalau macam ni.. )

5.  Humor helps integrate both hemispheres of our brain, for the left  hemisphere is used to decipher the verbal content of a joke while the  right hemisphere interprets whether it is funny or not... ( teda komen sebab scientific betul ni fact.. hehehehe.. )

6. Laughter adds spice to life; it is to life what salt is to a hard-boiled egg...( kalau tidak ketawa rasa macam kureng ba life kan? )

7. Develop your sense of humor and you will find you are more productive, a better communicator, and a superior team player.. (Nanti mo minta ajar sepa2 yg pandai buat lawak la ni.. ;P)

8. Everyone loves someone who can make them laugh. The more you share your sense of humor, the more friends you will have.. ( I am totally agreed with this one..Siapa x mau kawan person yang buli buat kita ketawa kan? )

So, don't wait up until fall sick to start practicing this habit in your life..(Yang selalu serius ja tu muka, start la kasi lawak/blur/apa2 yang nampak sempoi.. Rugi oo kalau selalu serius) I am gonna exchange my sleeping therapy to laugh therapy instead because I think it's the better way to cast away my tension.. Talking about laughing I remember a Plato's remark that sound like this :~

"Sugar Paper" Havoc !

Last night right after dinner, my eldest informed me that he need 2 sheets of color paper and 1 sheet sugar paper for his art lesson today.. I was busy washing the dishes and since I did really not paid attention to his word, I just replied," hmmm.. Besok mama beli". ( hoping he will stop bugging me about it )

I thought he will go away & stop his detailed demand only to be bombarded with question I never expected," Mama, tau tak what is Sugar Paper?"

Then I realized that I don't know what the hell is Sugar Paper! To cover rasa malu, I asked my son, " how to spell it?"

" Maybe S.U.G.A.R  P.A.P.E.R kot, " he spelled it sardonically.. I think he knows that I don't know what is it exactly..*LOL*

So, I asked my hubby and he said," Kertas minyak la tu..Tidak pun Manila Card."
Wakakaka..I guess my hubby did not know what is it too.. *wink*

" It was like manila card tapi kasar sikit. Orang selalu guna untuk buat kad atau presentation." My son explained yet i still don't have a clue what is it.. 

I was irritated and annoyed with the fact that I don't know what is this "Sugar Paper" so I started to grumbling, " How I am gonna to buy it when I  don't know ape benda sugar paper? Cikgu tidak tunjuk contoh ka? bla..bla..bla..bla.. "

My son noticed this so he simply said," Susah apa mama. Just tell the stationery shop you want to buy sugar paper. Cikgu cakap dorang tau apa tu sugar paper." Nah, terkena lagi by my son..*sigh*

You know what? My son is right.. The shopkeeper did know what is it..

P?S:~Sugar paper is tougher type of colored paper. It also known as construction paper and normally available in large sheets. Originally, it was used for making bag to contain sugar.. I guess that's why it called as sugar paper.

THE REWARD I WON : UNIFI FROM TM

I know I left a cliffhanger in my previous entry.. hehehe, don't get mad because I did it on purpose..LOL

I won the bet between my hubby and the reward is..jeng..jeng..jeng...: UniFi !!!!!!
My hubby will install high speed broadband also well known as UniFi from Tm.. I am so excited since I found out that the installation will take place on 20 February.. Rasa mo break-dance ja bila hubby gave me the news..

However, my hubby have 1 ultimatum condition that I must obey in order to keep him paying the cost. He said, "Jangan Overdose". Meaning, I can have my UniFi as long as I do my responsibility as a mother and a wife..*wink*..

I am using streamyx (RM77/month) which belonged to my company before this and I am satisfied with it and rumors said that UniFi is really nice and I think I will definitely loves it.. I think I am going to write about it soon after I experience the greatness of it myself..

Actually, right before CNY holiday, my hubby and I placed a bet on "Net free Holiday".. Let me elaborate it 1st before you guy start guessing and than end up guessing wrong .. "Net free Holiday" in my hubby and mine context mean holiday without checking our email / social network / blog / what so ever concerned with internet yet we still can update our status via our mobile phone.. That's it!

If you noticed, I haven't post any entry from 1- 7 February 2011 except for 1 entry about CNY that I scheduled earlier to be published on 3rd of February and that answer my absence..

I won and though I felt a little bit out-dated yet it worth my times since I spend more quality time with my  beloved family..We need to spare some quality time with our family without any interruption of our online world.. I am persistent net surfer and this kind of bet really knock  me hard of reality on my lack of time with my family especially my kids.. mcm mo kena join rehab pula ni..

Happy Chinese New Year 2011!!

I am not Chinese but this celebration is one of my most awaiting time because I got "Cuti Panjang" during this celebration.

Back at my childhood age, I used to tag along with  my father to "Pekan Ranau" to visit his Chinese friends where I have the chance to watch the lion dance being performed by local people and get ang pow from my father friends.. For a 9 years old girl, I felt it was like watching a Disney Roadshow and win a lucky draw. However, after I reached my puberty ages (I guess when I was around 14 yrs or 15 yrs) I preferred to watch it with my friend than tagged along with my father and got ang pow.. malu konon la

I also loves to hear the sound of  firecracker! prompompompommmmmmm!! It was like music to me yet now this sound really annoy me especially in the middle of night.. See, so many thing changed in me but I still love CNY!

So, I am taking this opportunity to wish all Malaysian who celebrate it a very Happy and prosperous Chinese New Year!!

Happy Holiday Mode!

I woke up today with a BIG smile on my face..
1 more day and I am off for a week!!!!!!!!!

It's not like I am going to vacation yet I am extremely happy because during this period of  time I am able to pamper myself with my favorite books or movie and even have time to do my long-neglected activities; Window-shopping!!

Most of my friends who live here in KL will go back Sabah but since I am off budget then visiting my beloved mom will post-phone until around month of May ( God willing ).. Really feel bad because my mom keep asking me to visit her in near future but my budget is really tight.. Sorry mom... *sob..sob..*

I will try my best to post new entry during this period of time but it will be a short entry only so please do no not hate me okay!!

Supermums 2011!

I am fan of Reader Digest since I am 10 years old ( My 1st hard copy of Reader Digest was given by my beloved father) and the contents never let me down, even the contest is surprisingly interesting!

This year, they are doing Supermums 2011 nominations where people were invited to nominate a mother that they think deserve this acknowledgment by writing about her and submit it to Reader Digest by 28th February 2011.

I have browsed some of the story and most of it really touching... I guess everyone agreed if I said all mother deserve to be call "supermum"! ( excluding those who dumped or abused their kids, they are different kind of mother which I called "heartless" mum ).

Me too a supermum yet not as super as other mother.. ( I get annoyed easily over my kids misbehaved ...*sigh* ). And you, yes YOU are supermum or soon to be too..*wink*.

Most men always wonder what is it about being a mum that qualify them to be call "super".. ( even my hubby ask me the same Q ). Then I ask him, " when our kids fall sick, who stayed up all night long to take care of them?" and he said, " You did."

I asked him again, " When the Eyas not eating well or when Elan grade fall down or when thinking of leaving our kids at other people care, who worried the most?" and again he said, " You did."

"Then that answer your wondering," I told him. Well, a mother is gifted with undying compassion and unconditional love  and that qualified them to be called as "super". It's undeniable that men too can have such intensity of compassion and love but the still the gap is too obvious. ( Just my opinion and i know it differ depending on individual )

Okay..okay.. I think better I stop my rambling here but I will rambling again soon. So, if you have someone in you mind that might deserve this recognition then do it hurry up because the time is tickling!
