Disappointment Of Online Shop Product!

How many of you like online shopping? Normally, what kind of stuff do you purchased online? Do you satisfied with stuff you bought online?

I am one of those people who likes to do online shopping yet I only purchased stuff like books, bags & accessories. In fact, I purchased most of my books & reading material from online shop (MPH online ) since I hates to go to bookstores with my kids tagging me along. Susah mo pilih buku kalau my kids ikut because I will end up buying their stuff than mine.. I never purchased any clothing / attire stuff until recently and I am not happy with the product I received.

material macam Kain langsir ja..
2 weeks ago, for the 1st time I placed my order for a maxi dress with one of the online shop I stumbled upon in Facebook because the price is quite cheap than other online shop (with the same item ).. Well, there is always 1st time for everything right.. To tell the truth I was dreading up to receive the product because it was my 1st time buying clothes via online and I don't know whether the product is as good as it look in the pics I saw in their profile..

Jahitan pun tak kemas!
Guess what happened when I did received the product last Monday? The dress was not as good as I expected! The dress was made from the cheapest kind of material and it not even well tailored. Plus, the dress is too long for me.. I can buy 3 pieces of cotton tops from the Thai's shop nearby the Giant at Puchong with that money I paid those online shop!
Do you notice the difference? Cincai betul la!

Before this I don't understand why people don't trust online shop ( especially clothing & attire shop ) but now once I stand on the shoes of those who have experienced the malice of swindler online seller, I truly understand those peoples feeling. Oh ya, just to let you people know, I did ask those online shop owner about the material and she said the dress was made from chiffon yet to me, "kain langsir" is better than it.. I even asked the seller whether the dress can fit me well with my 153cm height and she said it will be fine on me.. tsk..tsk.. Now according to my hubby the dress will be better be my sleeping attire! Huarghh!!! I thought I can wear it casually..( T_T )

You see, this is the main problem with online shopping. There are always the possibility of fraud info because I can cannot see the real product with our own eye like we always did in real shopping. I have tried to establish online shop to promote my catalog product but in the end I terminated it due to lack of customer confidence.. Thanks (No thanks) to those online shop who tarnished the trust of online customer ( who face the same fate like mine ).. Note the sarcasms!

I am writing this entry to remind all the online shop owner to practice honesty in their business. As a customer, we expect you to serves us with a good product that worth the value of money we are paying.. Since we cannot see and inspect the product by ourselves, we are totally placing our trust in the hand of the online shop owner to give their honest services in our favor. I understand that some of the online shop only thinks of the profits but please remember that honest profit is better and will continuously than fraud-earn profits that might cause you to lost lots of customer from shopping with your online shop..

I am not saying that all online shop are dishonest because to my amazement so me of them really have a good service & product but maybe it's just my bad luck... Well, I cannot judged them based on 1 greedy online shop right.. Tapi biasa la kan, sebab nila setitik, rosak susu sebelanga.. cewah, feel like Karam Singh la pula..LOL.. I am just sharing what I feels and what I thinks of online shop but ya in the end it's all up to you people to ponder about it.

As for me, I don't know whether I have the courage to buy attire / clothing via online after this incident.. I may or may not tries to purchase again in future but for the time being I will content with buying my clothing attire from shopping complex / shop lots etc. One more thing, I support all of online shop who sell product such as handcrafts, bags, books, toys & accessories!

Sorry, I am No Fan of Mary Kay Product!

Do you have ever been approached by someone  (stranger / friends / families) who claimed themselves as a beauty consultant ? Well, you know those people who did a demo about washing your face, applying masker, toner, moisturizer, foundation etc ( excluding make-up ) using their so- called product. In your opinion, are they really a " beauty consultant" as they claimed or it just a "commercial name' they use to promote/sell their product?

Frankly, to  m y opinion. I thinks they are just as bad as as a liar and their demo were just a bullshit! Sorry, it's sound a bit harsh and mean but that's just my honest opinion about those kind of people.. They are just another kind of liar because all of the demo they did only show the good side of their product where as they left the bad side for us to find out later. I referred to their demo as a bullshit because it's just a basic stuff that even a naive/nerd schoolgirl know about it. Just because they attended a few hour class of how to take care their skin using their product, they dare to called themselves as a beauty consultant. So if that is the reason why they called themselves a beauty consultant then peoples who know this basic can claimed themselves as a beauty consultant too, am I right?

I am not referred to those people who really studied the field of skin and beauty therapy since  this people really have a certificate in their profession and they are qualified to be called beauty consultant. I am referring to those people who claimed themselves as a beauty consultant just because they attended a few hour class or training of  demonstrating their own product. They attended the class just to know how to promote/sell their product without even knowing the meaning of their profession or worst without a single passion in field of skin and beauty.

Surce: Google Image
Hahaha, I  guess all of you already know whose beauty consultant did I referred to right? Okay, no more riddles and let me tell you exactly who they are.. They are Mary Kay (MK) beauty consultant! Sorry, sis-in-law, I really hates MK!
I don't understand how can MK still standing high and sell their product since a lot of complaint / bad review on their product since 2008.Their products are not really as good as they claimed it was. Maybe in time being it look good on them and even give the result they want for but they didn't realized that the product have a catalyst long term effect they might regret later. Even one of their director who called herself pinktruth had established a web to reveal the fraud and bad things about MK. In one of her article of WHY SHE QUIT MARY KAY , she wrote " My decision to quit MK was based on the facts of my health, and the lack of true information about this business opportunity.

I was studying chemical before I involved in accounting & business management and I know the fact that any beauty product were content with a series of chemical formulation that will have a bad effect sooner or later. I only used facial foam, toner, moisturizer, lotion & press/foundation powder daily. My range of brand selection are  Fair & lovely, Olay, Nivea, Maybelline, Safi & Silky girl because its product suitable for my skin and affordable as well. Do you know that the price of one MK facial foam is equal to 3 Safi facial foam! No way I am gonna waste my money to buy expensive product by MK that might content harmful chemical when I can always buy cheaper product such as Safi that safe & Halal as well.

My skin & beauty is mine to control. I control every thing that goes in and on my body. You can try to persuade me or even lied to me to buy your product but  in the end the ultimate power is still mine. I might need your advise but in the end still I am the one who take action on what the best for my skin. So, back off all of those people who try to cloud my mind with fraud and lies because I know my skin better than you! If I need help I will asks the expert, not you who claimed yourself as beauty consultant and offered your advise just to promote your product!

Moreover, you have to pay at least RM20 to attend this class! Hahahaha, what a jokes( LMAO )! No way I am gonna pay for such basic stuff they teach since I can googles load of articles and video on skin care and beauty therapy through internet!(LOL)

It's just my say and it's up to you to determine what the best for you! But I think all of us are better educated nowadays and those beauty consultant bluffing shouldn't  sway us at all. Only simpleton will believe their ceramah about skin care, Muahahahaha!

P/s: This is not a campaign against this product but just another honest opinion. So, please no hard feeling and Peace No War !

The Royal Wedding!

Maybe I am this entry is a bit late but still I want to voice out my POV about this most anticipate wedding of the year, The Royal Wedding Between Prince William & Kate Middleton!

Well, I just wanna say that the wedding is as what I imagined ; full and bind with protocol! Every single step was bound by protocol and there were no wonder since every Royal Wedding will be bound by the Palace protocol!

Even the 1st public kiss William & Kate shared was seem like bound by protocol! Muahahaha!

One more thing, I don't like kate's wedding dress at all! The gown was too "kembang" that it's prevent William to stand close to kate. Prince William have to stand  half meter from Kate just to make sure he will not step on her dress! What a jokes! They are married but cannot stand side to side closely due to that fact.. Shame on the designer of that dress to ignore such small fact.

However, thanks to Kate's flawless beauty that mesmerized me during the whole event that I missed that dress flaw until one of the host mention about William consideration of not stepping on Kate's dress. She was stunning! Prince William too amazingly handsome even with his almost bald head..=P

Well, no matter what I said I do hope they will happily ever after..

Top jobs only for those who know the language well

Petaling Jaya (The Star/ANN) - It does not matter if you are top of your class or have a string of degrees, that dream job will not be yours unless you can speak and write well in English.
Feedback from local and international employers shows that verbal and written communication skills in English remain the most sought-after attribute in prospective employees.
According to a recent Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF) survey, it is the most important trait employers look for when recruiting graduates.
The MEF Salary Survey for Executives 2010 revealed that 68% of the companies surveyed named communication skills as the top quality required in job applicants, followed by working experience (67%), interpersonal skills (56.2%) and passion and commitment (55.7%).
MEF executive director Shamsuddin Bardan said globalisation had changed the nature of jobs, making communication skills, specifically in English, a valuable asset for today's worker.
He added that this was an essential criterion even for professions traditionally seen as backroom staff such as engineers, technical personnel and scientists. It is especially so for those working in multinationals and bigger firms," he said.
Today, our clients are worldwide. In factories, for instance, engineers are a different breed from the past," said Shamsuddin.
Now, they have to be involved in various aspects of business and interact with clients."
Shamsuddin expressed concern that many local graduates today could not speak or write proper English, saying this was a reason why they faced difficulties getting jobs in the private sector.
Kelly Services (M) Sdn Bhd managing director Melissa Norman concurred, noting that six in 10 graduates who attended its interviews could not communicate effectively in English.
The company is one of the top headhunters in the country.
Norman said it was important to master English as it was widely used among the business community, both in Malaysia and internationally.
The Kelly Global Workforce Index survey released in 2010 listed communication skills as one of the top five most desired skills within the corporate sector.
We have encountered local graduates who are weak in spoken and written English and have limited vocabulary," said Norman.
These candidates can only manage to secure jobs in small-medium enterprises and small businesses."
Various industry and business leaders also warned that the decline in English was affecting Malaysia's global competitiveness.
Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers President Tan Sri Mustafa Mansur said the young ones who could not communicate in English were unable to negotiate the best deals in business transactions or investments.
We need to send people out to market our products, negotiate deals or get contracts signed. If they cannot communicate well in English, we will lose out," he said.
Pemudah co-chair Tan Sri Yong Poh Kon pointed out that, contrary to popular belief, it was important for civil servants to have a good command of English due to a growing borderless world.
The standard of English also affects the quality of the public sector as civil servants have to interact with international citizens and the business world as well as articulate Malaysia's stand on issues to the international community. These include negotiations on important agreements such as trade agreements."
Noting that the quality of English in the country had declined over the last two decades, former Human Resource Minister Tan Sri Fong Chan Onn warned that the country would lose out to its neighbours that did not teach English in schools previously.
Thailand, Indonesia and China are making efforts to improve their English through their education system," he noted.

In my previous entry about Malaysia being the no.1 in English in Asia I forgot to mention about above fact which is 100% true and should be taken seriously by all Malaysian if they want to be competitive in international career market or least in Malaysia itself.

However I do not agree about the statement that only bigger company take note about the importance of English proficiency since nowadays smaller company/business also put their preference over the worker with excellent English as well.

By the way, there is no easy way to learn English but to put behind our own ashamed feeling and uncertainty and just do it despite of what other people thinks. For a start ( hahahaha, based on my own experience ) maybe you should write in English. Notes, diary, recipes, memos or whatever you want to write, just write it in English. Then, you should start speaking the language to accustom yourself with it. You might find it a bit difficult to pronounce certain words but feel free to ask people and DON'T ever feel ashamed if you speak it in wrong way.

I still remembered my experience over my public speaking during my English class ( matrix ), where I make lots of mistake and make myself look like a fool because some of my colleagues did laugh on me due to my poor English except for my fellow friend Joannie Jomitol, Marini Sulaiman, Falinah Misol & Ramansha. It's really embarrassing but I was grateful to that experience because it's showed how poor my verbal English and since then I start to improvise myself by speaking it on daily basis. Now, I can proudly say I am good in English though not as excellent as some people.

My job is not really a top job but I love my job. I hope my kids will have a better future, a better career and a better life than mine with all my effort with their education plus my strict implementation of English language in their daily life.( Dusun language is one of their must language too. Mana boleh lupa bahasa turun temurun kan.. )

ParenThots - What do you do when your child has nightmares?

ParenThots - What do you do when your child has nightmares?

My eldest son always have a nightmares. Even worst, he is sleepwalking!

Lots of funny and scary stuff he did during sleepwalking but does it worried me?
Of course I am worried all the times because there been incident where peoples died during sleepwalking!

It's easy to tackle nightmares but to cure sleepwalking will takes forever because there are no scientific explanation for this kind of phenomenon yet so far.

When my kids have a nightmare, all I can do is comforting them and accompany them until they go back to sleep again. I don't know how to prevent nightmares because it's impossible to control our dreams ( even some people said we can ) and though I prevent them from watching horror film, there is still a chance other matter might trigger the nightmares.

As for sleepwalking, there is no particular way I can tackle it but I did secured/locked dangerous place such as kitchen, bathroom and even the exit door to prevent any chance of unwanted accident when my eldest son sleepwalking..
I have read about sleepwalking in one of my favorite author " Sidney Sheldon" book titled " I heard That Song Before" where it was mentioned that sleepwalking happened due to the stress / pressure condition of individual yet I wonder what is stressing my eldest son since he is just 9 years old.

last time my eldest son sleepwalking( last week ), he broke our front door while trying to open it! I was totally scared when I heard the sound of something broke that night because I thought someone tried to break in only to find out that it was my son doing! I think I need to consult with expert about this matter to get further explanation.

Insolent people turn me OFF!

Today while I was choosing my meal for lunch at Restoran Padi, I accidentally bumped into one of the restaurant worker who is on her way to serve Nasi ayam that cause her to spill some of the soup onto the table. I apologized because I know I am guilty too though it's her mistake for not watch her step while serving in rush only to get her death stares in return!

I was so upset because apparently it was the worker mistake yet I was the one who is doing the apologizing thing only to received rude action in return.. She don't even utter a word like " it's okay" or may "takpe, saya pun salah". What a fool I am to expect such kindness! I feel humiliated because I am the customer & she didn't even show any respect to me as a customer. At that time I can feel my anger bubbled up & I almost exploded but I thankfully I managed to contain my anger though in my mind I already started cursing WTF.. ( muka merah suda menahan marah )

My hubby noticed my angerness, so he persuaded me to ignored the incident & calm down but how can I just ignore it when people showing bullshit manner in return of sincere apologize? Yet, I sat down & ate my lunch without enthusiasm like I always have when I eating.. Even great food turn tasteless after facing such manner..
One of people behavior that really pisses & turn me off is insolently!

I know I can't expect all people to be kind towards me. But, C'mon in this case I am their customer & in business world customer should get some respect! The worker was lucky because she bumped on me ( I am not hostile person ).. I wonder what would happened if she bumped onto someone who is less patience & hostile..

"For those who are on the roof become insolent as they don't know yet about the slope and the slipperiness of the roof!" »Mehmet Murat ildan
What do you do when you are in my place?

Note :-
  • My moody heart cheered up by my ex-colleague who happened to buy lunch at the same restaurant. He paid our bill as treat for us & how can i prolong my moody heart after such kindness.. Thank you Navin!
  • Hopefully the worker will learn some manner in future
