Every Second Count

Assalamualaikum..
Today is my youngest 10th birthday. I should be happy since he is growing up well but at the same times I am a little bit sad because I feel I haven't play with him enough. think I didn't spend much time with him and I think I missed so much in his life.
I am jealous with those mom who stay at home or working from home just because they can spend more time with their kids whilst I have to send my kids to day care center and spend 8 hours, 5 days a week of my life at office.. How pathetic is that.. Hurmm...
However, looking from the bright side, I learn to appreciate every single second I spend with my kids and try my best to fill it with colorful memories, hoping that my children won't feel neglected or less love.
Dear Ilyas,
Happy 10th birthday 'busuk'! May Allah bestow you the best of everything in life and hereafter.. InShaAllah.. (Aaamiin).

Are We Promoting Violence

Assalamualaikum!

My FB feeds these few days are mostly about the incident of a motor rider harrasing a car driver for not giving signal at the T junction.

Everyone were giving their piece of mind, some critizing the motorcyclist but mostly applausing and praising him for giving the car driver a lesson of her life, which make me a little sad of what our society becoming nowadays. It feel like they are suggesting that violence is okay in certain situation (*sigh).

Yes, the woman (car driver) might be wrong for not giving signal, which might cause tragic accident but resorting to violence is a terrible way of giving a life lesson to others. Scolding, critizing, admonishing etc., even cursing can be use but please don't ever use violence.

I am sorry but I can't tolerate with either people who resort to violence or people who backing/supporting act of violence. I will forever against violence. As simple that. Call me stupid, bias or anything but nothing can change my stand.

Never Too Late

Assalamualaikum..

It is such a long hiatus from my blogging activities.

To be honest, I was engrossed with my life ups and downs.

Even when I already in front of my lappy and my finger started typing the words but after few sentences I just couldn't find the right words to put up my thoughts and it always end up as a draft. I really miss my writing enthusiasm.. *sigh

One of my resolution this year is to write at least once a month yet only now I manage to pull myself to write this post..

Writer's block? Hurmm, nope, not this time. I guess I just lost my enthusiasm in writing.. Can I blamed all of those Kdrama and Cdrama? Just kidding, it's my fault actually for being Kdrama and Cdrama addict.. Hehehe

Oh well, it's never too late to start over again, isn't it? Moreover, it's new era of speech and writing freedom. I may take this opportunity to writing about anything to my heart content..InShaAllah..

I will keep writing..ommm :P

Family New Addition: Momo The Cats

Last week hubby brought back a female stray cat that he found nearby Prima LRT station. The kids (especially my daugther) are so excited and pratically begging me to let the cat stay with us.

Honestly I feel uneasy because I vowed never to take in any pet since I lost my pet cat many years ago. However I gave in to hubby and my kids pledge that they will take responsibilty on its health and hygiene aspect. So from now on my small family number is 7.

Pulau Burung, Port Dickson

Once again mom-in-law invited us to join her at Teluk Kemang, Port Dickson. During our stay this time, while training for our upcoming running event, hubby and I found this nice place to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the sea called Pulau Burung which located near the Cahaya Negeri beach.

Actually it is a small island which have only 1 building i.e the conservation tower where you can see a spectacular vuew from up there. I saw lots of people fishing here so I guess it must be a good spot for fishing activity.

2D1N at Johor Bahru

Beside attending the AIA vitality MWH Night Run,  we also took the opportunity to visit hubby older sister and exploring some place that I managed to google thru travelling blogger.

We checked in at Euro + Hotel that I booked thru Agoda which costed us RM150 per night for family room. It's new, comfortable enough for us and cheap family friendly hotel.

After lunch, we went to Johor's Zoo with sister-in-law family which is a must visit attraction according to travelling blogs that I read before our 2D1N trip to Johor Bahru. It is actually a mini zoo but I think it's better than Zoo Negara because kiddos really did have a good time here. Entrance fee is RM2/pax for adult and RM1/pax for kids.

The next day after night run, we managed to stop by at Legoland and took some photos. Nope, we did not enter legoland but wandering at the mall in front of it before we continued our journey back to Puchong. We reached puchong at 6pm after 3 hours driving, quite fast because of the smooth traffic.

Overall, this 2D1N trip to Johor is considered okay although we missed many hot spot especially nice foods spot due to time limit. Need to stay longer in order to venture all of the nice and recommended places in Johor Bahru.

AIA Vitality Men's Women's Health Night Run-Johor

A week ago on 7th January 2016, we went to Johor merely because we joined the AIA vitality MWH Night Run which is held at Puteri Harbour, Johor Bahru.

It was a free registration because hubby won 2 free pass from IG contest. My 1st running event without any training, not even walking or jogging for the past 3 months,LOL!

The event can be considered as a fun one because there a lots of activities you can try out at the event site but suprisingly only few hundreds runners at this event.

Overall to me it was a smooth and enjoyable running event; ood numbers of portable toilets, enough water stations, generous goodie bag, good medal design and scenery running route as well. Not forget to mention their amazing volunteer and supporting team!

School 2017 Preparation & Budget

Finally, kiddos 2017 school preparation completed despite of my tight financial budget, pheww, Alhamdulillah!

My strategy for minimizing the expenses is surveying  and doing price comparison (1-2 weeks) before buying anything. I normally starting buying in the middle of December or earlier to avoid out of stock problem.

Summarizing the expenses as below table ( For my own record and reference only)

Colorful Waterfront,Setia City Mall

1st time checking out Setia City Mall, Shah Alam. A nice and big Shopping Mall located at Shah Alam. I think it almost as big as IOI City Mall. Good spot for window shopping lover like me, LOL!
