Langkawi Trip Mission : Part 1

Hi everyone!

Sorry for the late update about this so-called solo trip of mine.. I know you all are so keen to hear about it right? (*silakan muntah...LOL).

I guess all of you already know where was my destination right? Yep, Langkawi! I choose this Island because I never been there and always wanted to go there but never got the chance.

I departed from LCCT at 1930hrs and reached Langkawi around 2010hrs and have to wait until 9.30pm for  my host - Kak Zue (hotel/room owner) to fetch me at the airport only to inform me that there was some mistake and I have to stay at her friend homestay for 1 night! Ok, I was shocked but at the same time grateful because she solved the problem and more thankful because I have a place to stay that night.. Cobaan on my 1st night in stranger place (*sigh)...

The next day, my original plan to go to Gunung Raya cancelled because I have to check out from Kak Zue's friend homestay and check in to my room at her place. So, I went to have a look at Pantai Cenang 1st and as what I read from reviews / blogs, this area was super-packed! The beach was fully occupied by foreigner who trying to get sun-tanned and also the locals. So was the hotel in this area!  All was fully booked until 15th Feb! There were not much I did on that 1st day but window shopping at the Cenang Area and later went to Kota Mahsuri and  the Monday Night Market to buy dinner..

Next day, drove to Gunung Raya with intention to do some hiking or trekking but this plan also aborted because of the warning from local people about snake that going down the mountain during dry season plus the car was running out of fuel..HMPPPFFF! kecewa lagi! However,  managed to cover area such as Black Sand Beach, Telaga Air Hangat, Durian Perangin Waterfall and Wildlife Park on that day. So terubat juga la kekecewaan di hati :P

Mission In Progress!

Hey you all! Miss me??

Been super busy at office these few weeks and actually still busy till Chinese New year holiday. Well, I have an hour before going back home, so I am taking this opportunity to 'mengular' and sharing few things with you all.

Remember when I said I am going to travel alone soon in my past entry? Yep, I have planned everything and hopefully those 'everything' will goes smoothly. The hardest part was getting 'green light' from the husband. I been planning all of this project of mine since December last year and only 2 weeks ago did I got his approval though he is still a bit reluctant to let me proceed with this whole 'lone ranger' mission of mine (*roll eyes). Thank you so much  for letting me doing this and take care of the children! I'll buy you nice souvenirs okay (*wink2)!

Just when I thought I have everything in hand, I got an email from the site where I booked my hostel/hotel, informing me about refunding me because the hotel/hostels I booked were full, that there was a technical mistake / miscommunication between them and the hostel/hotel management. Honestly, I was panicked but thank God that I managed to find another place to stay and this time I booked it directly from the owner.

Initially, I was planning to go by bus/train, but yesterday I changed my plan and decided to go there by flight instead. I know it means extra budget but at least it save the traveling time.. *Ayat bikin sadap hati seja tu.

I have done my 'homework' to google up all the place I must go, things I must do and souvenirs I should buy and make a list of it. I also been reading tips about traveling alone from online forum/discussion and takes note about it especially tips concerned about safety matter. My hubby said, "semangat giler die!".. LOL!

Gosh, Times up! Have to go back now to fetch my kids from their daycare center. I'll try to post about my preparation for this mission of mine again soon.. And Nope, I won't spill out my destination until mission accomplished! To those who knew (Attn: Just), psstt, diam2 dulu ah!

Contribution Needed For Orphanage

It will only takes a minute to be kind but the result will last forever.

Hi everyone! Today entry is about my personal petition for sincere contribution from anyone who might reading this entry. I am joining a charity event conducted by Nadia this coming February and here in this special entry I would like to humbly ask for your kindness to help us raising a fund to be contribute to Rumah Amal Kasih Bestari which is located at Kg Baru Subang.

Any contribution, little or big amount are highly appreciated. Rather than giving RM1 to the beggar that we don't even know weather they really are people in need or part of those beggar syndicate, why not contribute it to this Orphanage that we know exist and really need our help.

Now Or Never

As people busy planning their upcoming CNY holiday, I am busy with my own planning to tick off one of my wish list this year as well... Since I am too chicken to travel as lone ranger to oversea, I decided to do it locally and it going to happen soon (*winking)!

I am always craved for challenge and activities that will give me a rush of adrenaline and my coming soon lone ranger trip gonna involved activities such as trekking, hiking and if there is any available; bungee jumping! Yay!

I m not going to reveal where I am going because everything is still in planning and I am still asking people around and searching here and there about the place I m going to, things to do there, hotel/motel/backpacker hostel I can stay and also how to move around there.

Some people might think I am selfish or crazy but I just want to make my dreams come true when I am healthy and have energy to do it. Being married with 4 kids doesn't mean I can't live my life to the fullest and make my own dream come true right? Before this I was too concerned about certain parties happiness that I forgot about my own dreams and happiness.. My kids are exceptional tho.. I also got a bad critic from my in law side but this time I just ignore their negative thinking because I know I am not anything wrong and I am doing all of this making my dreams come true project at my own expenses.. I don't want to live in regret when I know I can achieve one or two of my childhood dreams but never try or fight to make it real.. Semangat tomod tih (*LOL)!

That's all I wanna say for now. Tomorrow I am going to write a donation petition for this charity event I am going to join next month and hopefully will get some support/donation  from my fellow follower and also from those who stop by my blog. So, stay tuned for tomorrow entry ya!

Turning Point & Resolutions

It's 1st day and night of year 2013 already and tomorrow school session will start and my routine of waking up early in the morning to prepare the kids to school and daycare center will starting over again. No more waking up at 7.30am except weekends..LOL! Thank God, despite of few problem, kids school preparation went smoothly..

I have few resolution and goals that I set up for year 2013 but I am not going to reveal it because you know me...LOL.. But I really hope that I can achieve one or two of it by the end of the year (*finger crossed).

People said, at some point, when you have enough of those suffering life you been through because of others, you will find the strength to raise above and stand up for yourself. At this point, you won't care about what people think about you because for such a long time you been holding up yourself for their benefit, sacrificing your own feeling and happiness.

I believe everyone have or will undergo a turning point in their life and that also include me.. I am not sure where this turning point will lead me but I know that I have to do it sooner if I want to live happily without regret.. I am still in early stage of my new direction and lots of people may look down at me or worst may labelled me as selfish and stupid but someone had told me that nobody can judge us unless they have live and walked our journey. People may said that it's too late for me but I have faith that nothing is too late and it's better now or never.

Somebody talking riddles here huh(*rolled eyes)! Actually, what I am trying to say here is I am going to fulfill some of my dream i.e traveling to other country (*finger crossed). Most people trying to fulfilling their dream before get married and have kids whilst me doing it afterward..weird huh? Actually, I was too busy to enlarge my 'rakyat' before this beside that fact that I was financially can't afford to do it before. Well, still in tight budget but traveling once or twice a year won't do me harm, hopefully.. After working hard, we deserve to pamper/reward ourselves right?

Year 2013 will be more challenging for me because some aspect of my life will be change in near future. I pray that everything will be fine and I can keep my head up without regret or bitterness (*smile).

Summin' Up 2012 - Happy New Year 2013

In less than 4 hours, year 2012 will be ended and New Year 2013 begin and as I 'stealing' time to write this down, I re-play & reflected all the happy, sad, sweet and bitter memories along year 2012 in my mind with a smile and grateful heart because against odds, I managed to fulfill some of my goal that I been set - getting my driving license, settling few debts, bringing all my kids to my village, rewarding myself with smartphone & driving here and there by myself.. Yay!

I even managed to have my own car which I planned to buy next year (*smile ear to ear..LO).. Yes, many other things happened unexpectedly but still I am thankful because all of those things taught me to be stronger and wiser woman..

As a conclusion, year 2012 had been good and fruitful for me despite of the few unhappy things. Well, life isn't a life without bit of obstacles here and there to color and spice it up, right?? 

Yeah, as many years before, since I was in secondary school, I will set up another resolutions/goals for me, hoping that the next 365 days will be nice to me and I will able to achieve 1 or two of my goal (*God willing)..

So, I wish all my families, relatives, friends and to all people all over the world a very Happy New Year 2013. May the New Year 2013 will bring us happiness, joy, prosperity and peacefulness all over the world.

When 'Chickenpox" Attacking

I guess everyone are busy talking/writing about the so-called 'end of world' which apparently not going to happen today (21.12.2012) but not me because I never give heed about this matter since I know that no human could ever know when is the end of world except God. It's not that I am arrogant about this matter but it's beyond my power/knowledge, so there is no use for me to predict/speculate about it but be thankful that I am still alive each morning I wake up. Well, enough with my two cents about this and back to the point of this update (*lol).

So it's true then.. When 'chickenpox' attacking your kid, your routine gonna change 180 degree! Yep..that happened to me recently when the my youngest boy (Eyas) and his sister (Shasa) got chickenpox and hopefully my other kids immune of it already (*finger crossed)..

I brought  Eyas and Shasa to my office for almost 3 weeks and it did effected my work because taking care 2 sick kids while doing your job is that easy but I prefer that way instead of worrying all the time about them. I am so grateful because I have a very considerate employer who doesn't mind me bringing the kids at my office. May god bless you and prosper your business, boss!

Luckily it's school holiday or else my routine gonna change 360 degree! lol.. Actually, Eyas and Shasa already recover from the chickenpox now and my routine back to normal now (*thank God).

Christmas is around the corner and as it approaching, I couldn't help myself from missing my family and the Christmas celebration back in my hometown. It's been a while I never back at my hometown during Christmas (*sigh).. I am thinking of putting up a Christmas tree in my house here in Puchong but have to cancelled it because "some people" might get the wrong impression.. I miss to be in Sabah where people are more open-minded and not too skeptical about everything...

Darn.. I am out of topic already! LOL.. Anyway, that's all for now and until next entry people.. Happy Friday everyone!

Hit & Run & Welcoming December

Yay! It's December people! 21 days before Christmas and 28 days before new year hey! I guess those who celebrating Christmas must be busy setting up their Christmas tree right?

Actually, I just want to share another stale story regarding my car a.k.a my new baby..what a boring entry to welcome December huh (*LOL). 10 days ago, my car was hit and run while it was parked neatly at the parking area. Somebody hit my car while she/he tried to park beside it.. Yeah, it happened during night time or early in morning while everyone sleeping or busy to start the day. We didn't know for sure who did it but we kind of suspecting the owner of the orange Gen2 because his front bumper was badly scratched but we can't say anything since no witness and our suspicion only based on the pint of orange paint on the damage.

Yeah, it was a sad incident and in fact, i was mad because though I am just a noob driver but I always make sure I won't hit other people car while trying to park my car. However, I am grateful because it was just a small dent not a big damage. Well, I already repaired it and it cost me RM150...! There go my budget for books hunting this coming Saturday (*sigh).. Apparently, I need to put aside some budget for my car just in case emergency things like this happened (*touch wood)..

Driving Across KL To Visit CathJ

I know this story is kind of stale already but I still want to share it since it was my 1st experience driving across KL all by myself tau (*wink2).. Yeah..yeah.. for a pro driver it's sound ridiculous and mikirayou but for me the 'novice' driver, it's big thing (LOL)!

2 weeks ago, Just whatsapp me to ask whether I wanted to came along her, visiting CathJ (who diagnosed with Braest Cancer stage 3A) on Awal Muharam holiday and I said yes, though it depend on the weather actually. The next day, I woke up late and it was raining but I am persistence to go because I was too excited about meeting another blogger friend! I been to Just's house twice but being the unobservant me, I cannot memorized how to go there, so I was depending to the Waze apps (thanks to DC who taught me about it) and guess how long it took me to reach Just's place?? 2 hours!!! I was driving round and round for an hour before I stopped and asked this good guy who drive me (with is own car) to the right direction (*LOL). Cannot rely too much on navigation apps/GPS (@_@). Just and me planned to visit CathJ on 12-2pm visiting hour but due to my late arrival, we have to change it to 5-10pm visiting hour. Sorry moy, tergendala terus plan ko mo baking kan. 

It was my 1st time meeting CathJ face to face and I am happy that I managed to visit her with Just to support her in her journey to fight and be free of Breast Cancer. She look vibrant and cheerful despite if her illness. Keep up the cheerfulness Cath! You all can read about her journey ---> HERE

So, how was the feeling of driving across KL for the 1st time by myself? Nervous? Of course I was nervous and scared at the same time but it worth it since I was doing it to show my support to my sick friend even for a friend that I meet for a 1st time (*Smile).

That's all for now.. I have 3 - 4 stale story/draft I need to finish up and publish while my 'kerajinan' still intact (*rolled eyes)!

My 1st Brazilian Waxing Experience

Yes, I did my 1st Brazilian waxing on 20th October after years considering about it and on the dare of my friend and yes, this time I really did it unlike my last post about 'Date With Honeypot Wax Boutique' where I already set a date but in the end I backed off because I am too coward, plus too self-conscious to do it..

This time I got a streetdeal.my voucher to do Brazilian Waxing at Bubble Gum Wax (The Waxing Expert). I don't need to explain what Brazilian waxing since everyone knew what is it about even guys know it because the process can be done to them and known as Boyzilian Waxing (*wink2).. Honestly, when I reached their place, I feel so damn scared and nervous because I heard that it's really painful for 1st timer (@_@). The girl who is waiting for her turn to be wax explain that it's like threading with a bit intense pain but depend with the thickness and width of our private area.. Hearing this, I was kind of erkkkk, pingsan.. since my hair down there is so thick (*blush) because I shaved it constantly.. I almost trying to find an excuses to back off but couldn't do so because it was my turn!!! 

With heart beat fast, I just went through it and an hour after that I walked out from Bubble Gum Wax premise, feel like a Goddess (*smiling).. Was it painful? Well, I am not going to lie because it was painful but the experienced & qualified therapist, it's bearable actually. Moreover the girl who did my waxing really are friendly and chatty that help to distract me from feeling the pain.. 

Unlike shaving, waxing did slow down the growth of my hair down there because it's been 10 days since I did my Brazilian Waxing yet the hair down there just show a bit and no itchiness at all! Am I going to do it again?? Of course I will and in fact I already set another appointment with Bubble Gum Wax (The Waxing Expert) next this month for another session of waxing..Yay!

So, gurls and guys, if you want to experience your 1st Brazilian waxing with less pain, I recommended Bubble Gum Wax because I been there and went through the waxing session and from now on, they will be my waxing parlor because I am satisfied with their services.. My shaving razors went to 'tong sampah' right after I did my waxing..
