I proud being a woman!

Once upon a time, women were treated as an insignificant figure, merely for breeding & hosting purpose due to simpleton thinking by men back then. Nowadays, women played important role along with men in economic, political & social achievement yet at the same time they do their duty as a mother & wife.

If anyone ask me whether I ever regretted born as a woman than my answer will be definitely "NEVER" because I am proud to be  a woman who can work to support my family, being a mother to my children & good wife to my husband.

Since today is International Woman Day, I like to share a meaningful poem about woman with all my fellow reader who happen to read this post & I hope you, yes YOU WOMAN will stop to question the existence of human being called WOMAN ~

A Woman's Poem

A woman is the calm of a hurricane's eye
where a man finds tranquility
as the storm passes by

A woman is the softness inside the shell
when the shell is bombarded
by man's creation of hell

Fluctuation of oil price (RON 97) hurt!

Have you read what Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob. Minister of Domestic Trade, Consumerism and Co-operatives said in his statement about the fluctuation of RON-97???

How can they say fluctuate when since last year the price has been increased from RM1.92 to RM2.50 by earlier this month & there was no slightest decrease????

Why don't just admitted that the price will keep on increasing indeed of using the word "fluctuation"?? I hate it when people trying to cover the fact that even a small kids can identify! Malaysian citizens won't buy by these excuses because we are no more the dummy citizen. 

The constant increase of oil price really hurt citizen with average income like me.. Even those with higher income feel the effect because when oil price increase there is no doubt other thing will be increase too. For examples: bus fares, flight fares, daily stuff etc.

Some times I wonder how come our country leader can fight over something trivial in parliament yet they cannot solve bigger issue like oil price for the benefits of our country & its citizen development. Why don't they put aside their feud amongst themselves & co-operate to find the best solution on how to maintain the oil price from increase & ease down the burden of Malaysian citizen..

The motto of "RAKYAT DIDAHULUKAN, PENCAPAIAN DIUTAMAKAN" is meaningless if our leader take no action on this matter!

Have you ever heard about Music Therapy? It is scientific research about correlation between logic & musicology that may influence the development or changing in human physically, emotionally & spiritually.
Have you ever noticed how people with glumly mood smiled when they listened to certain song played on air? I guess everyone would agreed if I say that music can make us happy and music can make us sad.

I can feel my eyes misted whenever I heard " You Raise Me Up " by Josh Gorban because it remind me of my father yet at the same times it lift up my spirit to never give up. I also turn into dance monkey every time I listen to my favorite song such as "Waka Waka" by Shakira and also song by Rihanna.. Gosh, I just love her song..

Song such " Hero" by Mariah Carey, " Strong enough" by Cher, " Black & White " by Michael Jackson, " Written In the Sky " by Tinie Tempa and lots of inspired me to be a better person.

I don't know whether people out there agreed about music can heal our soul yet to me I cannot denied the power of music over my own emotion..

Note :- My family especially my hubby is fanatic about music though he don't even know how to play a simple note with guitar.. 

Insolent people turn me OFF!

Today while I was choosing my meal for lunch at Restoran Padi, I accidentally bumped into one of the restaurant worker who is on her way to serve Nasi ayam that cause her to spill some of the soup onto the table. I apologized because I know I am guilty too though it's her mistake for not watch her step while serving in rush only to get her death stares in return! 

I was so upset because apparently it was the worker mistake yet I was the one who is doing the apologizing thing only to received rude action in return.. She don't even utter a word like " it's okay" or may "takpe, saya pun salah". What a fool I am to expect such kindness! I feel humiliated because I am the customer & she didn't even show any respect to me as a customer. At that time I can feel my anger bubbled up & I almost exploded but I thankfully I managed to contain my anger though in my mind I already started cursing WTF.. ( muka merah suda menahan marah )

My hubby noticed my angerness, so he persuaded me to ignored the incident & calm down but how can I just ignore it when people showing bullshit manner in return of sincere apologize? Yet, I sat down & ate my lunch without enthusiasm like I always have when I eating.. Even great food turn tasteless after facing such manner..

One of people behavior that really pisses & turn me off is insolently! 

I know I can't expect all people to be kind towards me. But, C'mon in this case I am their customer & in business world customer should get some respect! The worker was lucky because she bumped on me ( I am not hostile person ).. I wonder what would happened if she bumped onto someone who is less patience & hostile..

• My moody heart cheered up by my ex-colleague who happened to buy lunch at the same restaurant. He paid our bill as treat for us & how can i prolong my moody heart after such kindness.. Thank you Navin!

"Bosou" Craving Madness

I was blog-walking at  Dev place when I stumble upon Gunsirit message on Dev shoutbox, asking about my favorite food "Bosou" & BAMM, just like that I experienced this craving madness for this particular dishes.. It's been a while I am craving to eat "Bosou" & I been trying to avoid any single thing that would remind me of this favorite food of mine since no way I am gonna get some here in KL.. Guns, you triggered the craving & now my craving exploded like dynamite !... (tapun2)

All Sabahan people know by heart what is "Bosou"..( who doesn't know you can just google it yourself)
My favorite one is "Bosou Udang + ikan + lada putih".. Just thinking of it watered my mouth..  (Mentally I slapped myself for torturing my mind with the delicious image..Yummy!)

Last time I have "Bosou" was during my visit to my brother residence at Damansara Damai On last Christmas.. I even tapau a week suppllies for me.. I called my brother to ask for some "Bosou" but they said it already finished some time ago..

ARRRGHHH!!! I wish I had learn the art of making "Bosou" with my mother or my villager!!!!
 I will definitely sleep with upset stomach today...Huahuahua..

P/S:- I am not craving because I am pregnant okay =) But it happened because just say I am "bosou" lover..

Selfish Friendship

Once a cat was caught in a hunter's net. A mouse used to live in a nearby hole. The mouse seeing the cat in the net started playing around the cat. Soon a mongoose came there. He wanted to kill the mouse. As he lifted his head, he saw an owl sitting on a tree trying to catch him. The mongoose went very near the cat's net to save himself. The mouse thought "When the hunter takes away the cat, the mongoose will not spare me and the owl is there to enjoy both of us."

The Mouse went to the cat and said, "I can cut the net if you promise to save my life from the mongoose and the owl." The cat agreed. The mouse started cutting the net slowly and freed the cat only when the hunter was just near the cat. The cat took to heels and so ran the mongoose too. The owl was very much disappointed to see even the mouse running away to safety.

A few days later, the cat being hungry, went to the hole of the mouse and requested him to come out for a game. The mouse replied, "I sought friendship and saved you to save my life." Now you can go home.

MORAL : Don’t nurture friendship with selfish people

At first i don't get what the connection between moral of the story & the story itself. It's pretty confusing & it took me sometimes to analysis the story to fully understand what is it about.. In my own words, the rat sought friendship with the cat for his own benefit so that he can escaped from the danger that surround him for that moment..( hahaha, consider ja la the rat sex is M ).. Yup the cat was rescued in return but only because the rat was in danger. Means, there was no sincerity in that friendship!

Sincerity is one of value that important in building a ever lasting friendship. I hardly encounter any sincere people here in my area and that is why I don't have many good friend. In fact I don't have any friend here in Selangor. Maybe I don't look hard but I really don't wish to befriend someone who take me for granted..


I still know some friend but their character is similar to the rat in above story & I rather be alone than befriend with someone selfish..

Wish Upon The Star

Do you remember being a kid, when the world  was full with possibilities? When we believed that we could change the world by making a simple wish?

Yup, I was one of those kid who make thousand of silly wish! When I make my 1st wish ( I was 8 years old that time ), I looked up to the sky with my hand clasped and my eyes closed then wished " I wishes that my family is wealthy ". At that time my father was struggling to support my big family where money always a problem and i guess that motivated me to make that silly wish..

Here is some of my thousand wish that I never forget until now:-

• I wished Santa Clause will visit my village
• I wished I can turn into mermaid
• I wished I have a blue eyes
• I wished Michael Jackson visit Sabah
• I wished I can meet princess Diana

Hahahaha.. It's endless because I always wish something every single day! I still sometimes making wish upon the star but now I make a wiser and realistic wish that I can achieve. My father said that everyone can wish and there is no point of silly or stupid in wishing something because the main point in wishing is our intention. Nothing impossible and God willing if our intention is pure enough, we will achieve it in time..

Rocking song of title "Animal"

When I was thinking on what I am going to write for my latest entry, I am kind of blank and have no idea on but then AWESOME song as below on air at MTV channel and I think, why not I write about it!

My kids love this song.. Whenever this song is on air, my kids will start dancing and singing along especially during the "oh oh I want some " part.. Our small house will turn mcm disko sekejap time ni lagu on air.. My hubby & I pun join because this song really awesome.. Even my youngest son pun know the chorus part.. Hahaha..Funny betul ba tengok si kecik shake his butt..

Maybe the lyrics is kinda of inappropriate for kids but I don't mind because they hardly understand the true meaning of the song. I mean, my kids just enjoy the music ba.

Actually I am not really big fan of Neon Tree, singer of this song because I am big fan of Green Day & Paramore but since the release of this song I start to like them not as much as the other 2 group though. In fact I don't know much about them before this song. ( I start to google about them only after I heard this song on air ). Biasa la, kalau 1 single meletup baru we start to get to know the singer kan..

Seem like need to stop typing because mo join dorang nyanyi dulu..

Culinary Failure!

Whenever my hubby and me talk about culinary, he will teases me about my 1st fried rice that I prepared years ago.

Frankly, I don't how to cook when I married him 10 years ago! Okay, let me tell you why he teases me about it.
That day I choose to prepare fried rice because I thought it's easy than other menu. I used my common knowledge didn't refer to any recipe book.( Malu mo tanya plus masa tu I don't have/keep recipe book with me)

I still remember the ingredients of my fried rice :- a can of sardine, garlic, chillies, salt and a big bowl of cooked rice. I fried the meshed sardine, garlic and chillies together then I putted the cooked rice, added salt and done. At that time seronok la sebab manage to prepare something for my hubby. I don't even thought to taste it 1st.

So right after my hubby returned home, I asked him to taste my fried rice and do you know what he said??
" Awak masak ape ni?? Rasa macam NASI KUCING la.."
I tasted it and he was right because it tasted like cats' food!!! I felt so ashamed and I vowed that I will never cook anything without consult anybody..

I sulked for few days because of this nasi kucing incident but now when I think back it's kind of funny. After that I bought recipe books for cooking simple and daily dishes and never experimenting with my common knowledge in culinary..

One lesson I learned that day was to taste my cooking 1st before serving it to other people. My hubby said it's basic knowledge in culinary.

I am lucky because since that day my hubby is the doing the cooking task. I just help him to prepare the ingredients. I can cook but I am no chef! I don't have the talent in culinary though I loves food very much..

I think lots of people out there have their own experience with cooking and this is mine.. 

Note: I always admire people who expert in cooking because they can turn simple food into mouth watering dishes. They said everyone can cook but I definitely a failure in culinary..*sigh*
