We are Not Whining!

Reading the statement by the Deputy of Prime Minister really boiled up my blood! Adakah He asked us to stop whining when all the Sabahan have done were asking for their assistance to help them improve their life standard! He even put the blame on the Sabahan leaders  that they unable to do much for the landless & hardcore poor! Jadi what the use of "Kerajaan Pusat"?? Isn't it is their responsibility to observes & take action if something is not right with the state leadership?? Come on, where is the spirit of " RAKYAT DIDAHULUKAN, PENCAPAIAN DIUTAMAKAN " motto that propagated by the government?

What really irritated me is the comparison of Sabahan poverty problem with starvation faced by China & India citizens. China ( ~ 1.4 billion people ) & India ( ~ 1.15 billion people ) are high populated country mister! How can he compared those country with Sabah that have approximately 3.2 million people? With that number of population & limited source of foods, starvation definitely surfaced. Please understand that Sabahan people not complaining about starvation but we are complaining about the lack of development in our Beloved land of Sabah. How can we feel satisfied when our state was labeled as the poorest state in Malaysia though we are all waiting & ready to co-operate for the proper development to be conducted by the

government.

Sabahan people also need to change they way of their thinking. Instead of waiting for the help that might never come, I guess all of us should stand together shoulder by shoulder, helping ourselves & our state to development. For example, support our local people in their business or take part in any local communities/events that give opportunity to our local people especially youngster to gain skill in supporting themselves & their family to prevent them from depending too much to the government.. It's better than waiting in uncertainty of the promised development by government right?

 

To all Sabahan, don't mind about being labeled as " the poorest state" in Malaysia because to me we are still the richest & beautiful no matter what they say! I am Proud To be Sabahan !
